Students will discuss as well as compare and contrast storytelling narratives in written/oral legal advocacy and visual advocacy (documentary films) as well as the ethical issues, legal and filmmaking, surrounding the use of film/digital media in legal advocacy settings - specifically the use of clemency or innocence short videos as supplements to written legal narratives. Students singly, or in small groups, will create a 5-10 minute advocacy video to supplement an ongoing legal advocacy clinical project.
