Students interested in gaining practical experience working with issues discussed in Sheldon Krantz’s Legal Profession Seminar may earn an additional 2-3 credits by working 10 hours or more per week with experienced lawyers to strengthen and help to enforce standards of conduct that govern lawyers, including formal ethics rules and laws that regulate lawyers. Enforcement processes may include bar proceedings (disciplinary and opinion functions), civil litigation, post-conviction proceedings and criminal prosecutions.
