The Maryland Carey Law-CUFE Law Fall Semester Cooperative Program in Beijing, China
Tuition and Estimated Costs
Tuition:
Maryland Carey Law students (whether regular or visiting) pay no additional tuition for participation in the Program. Non-U.S. students must pay CUFE Law a participation fee of U.S. $7,000 (RMB 45,500).
Housing:
A variety of housing options is available near campus. Housing costs are estimated as follows:
| Single Occupancy: | Up to U.S. $1,000/month (RMB 6,300) |
| Double Occupancy: | Up to U.S. $700/month per person (RMB 4,400) |
Other Costs (Estimate):
| Books/Course Materials: | U.S. $300 |
| Food: | U.S. $600/month |
| Transportation: | U.S. $200/month |
| Health/Accident Insurance: | U.S. $70/semester (RMB 500) |
| CUFE Registration Fee: | U.S. $90/semester (non-refundable fee paid at time of application) |
| CUFE Copy and Facilities Fee: | U.S. $395/semester (RMB 2,500) |
Excluding airfare and Program tuition (for non-U.S. law students), students should budget a total of approximately U.S. $7,500 for the full semester.
