The Maryland Carey Law-CUFE Law Fall Semester Cooperative Program in Beijing, China

Tuition and Estimated Costs


Tuition:

Maryland Carey Law students (whether regular or visiting) pay no additional tuition for participation in the Program. Non-U.S. students must pay CUFE Law a participation fee of U.S. $7,000 (RMB 45,500).

Housing:

A variety of housing options is available near campus. Housing costs are estimated as follows:

Single Occupancy: Up to U.S. $1,000/month (RMB 6,300)
Double Occupancy: Up to U.S. $700/month per person (RMB 4,400)

Other Costs (Estimate):

Books/Course Materials: U.S. $300
Food: U.S. $600/month
Transportation: U.S. $200/month
Health/Accident Insurance: U.S. $70/semester (RMB 500)
CUFE Registration Fee: U.S. $90/semester (non-refundable fee paid at time of application)
CUFE Copy and Facilities Fee: U.S. $395/semester (RMB 2,500)

Excluding airfare and Program tuition (for non-U.S. law students), students should budget a total of approximately U.S. $7,500 for the full semester.
