Maryland Law Review Endnotes features short essays and responses by law professors, judges, practicing attorneys, scholars from other disciplines and current law students.
We welcome responses to pieces in print or on Endnotes. However, we are unable to accept responses to pieces written prior to volume 66.
We accept essays on any topic that is relevant and will contribute meaningfully and constructively to legal discourse. We also specially welcome essays that are relevant to legal issues in Maryland and the Fourth Circuit.
Preference will be given to essays and responses that are 3000 words or less (inclusive of footnotes).

Endnotes pieces are selected and published on a rolling basis.
Published content will appear on the Endnotes section of the Maryland Law Review website with an abstract and link to the full document in PDF. The pieces are organized by volume corresponding to the current print volume and are paginated consecutively. Each piece should be cited to as follows: Author, Title, [Volume] Md. L. Rev. Endnotes [Page] [(Year)], [PDF URL].
