The Honorable Elijah Cummings will give opening remarks at a panel discussion on the public policy and social conditions that contributed to the Katrina aftermath, November 15, 2005 at 5:00pm.Panelists will include:

Kim Alton, Public Policy Director, Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law
Jeanne Woods, Henry F. Bonura Distinguished Professor of Law, Loyola University School of Law, New Orleans, LA
Harold McDougall, Professor of Law, Howard University Law School (tentative).
A reception will precede the panel at 4:30pm in the Krongard Room.
