First Round: 12:00 noon - 1:30 p.m.
Second Round: 1:30 PM - 3:00 p.m.
In the first round, Diana Kugel and Brendan Costigan will represent the petitioner, a thirteen-year-old special education student convicted of arson and felony murder. Derek Simmonsen and Max Brauer will represent the respondent, the state of East Dakota. In the second round, Matt Haven and Marie Maas will represent the petitioner, while Rachel Sauter and Anatoly Smolkin will represent the respondent..
Finalists will go on to compete in the Myerowitz Finals on March 9 at 12:30 p.m.
