Baltimore Sun Highlights New Directors of Biz Law Program

A story on the front page of the Baltimore Sun’s Sept. 7 "Business" section highlighted the new co-directors of UMDLaw's Business Law Program, Michelle Harner and Robert Rhee, and detailed their plan to expand experiential learning opportunities for students interested in business law.

"We want to increase the interaction between students, the practicing bar and the business community," Prof. Harner told The Sun.

Plans include a revamped curriculum with expanded course offerings, providing opportunities to shadow business attorneys or financial advisers, participating in business law competitions, and increasing interdisciplinary work with University of Maryland MBA students at the College Park campus or at the biotech campus in West Baltimore.
