Maryland Carey Law will host the annual Constitution Day Program in collaboration with the League of Women Voters of Maryland (LWVMD) on Monday, September 18.
This year's topic is "The Fourth Amendment and Electronic Surveillance." The principal speaker will be Professor David Gray, who has recently published a book titled The Fourth Amendment in an Age of Surveillance (Cambridge University Press). Rachael Levinson-Waldbaum, Senior Counsel at the Brennan Center at NYU Law School, and Judge Andrea Leahy of the Maryland Court of Special Appeals, who wrote the opinion in State v. Andrews, will also be speaking at the event. The panel will be moderated by Professor Danielle Citron, who has written extensively on electronic privacy.
