Prof. Steinzor and 2L Elise Desiderio Compile List of Rules Delayed by White House in New Report

Professor Rena Steinzor and second-year law student, Elise Desiderio, wrote a report that lists more than 50 rules that were delayed or placed under review by the new White House administration. The compilation was published by the Center for Progressive Reform and it includes every rule for which a Federal Register notice was published from January 20, 2017 through July 14, 2017.

According to Steinzor and Desiderio’s blog post about their analysis, they were inspired by the July 3 decision by the D.C Circuit Court of Appeals that limited the Trump administration’s ability to “put rules on hold without any explanation.” The list has been mentioned in the news by Greenwire and Scientific American
