The Clinic is pleased to welcome Anne Haffner Hurley ’06 as managing director. Hurley brings with her a wealth of advocacy, management, and client experience. Prior to joining the Clinic, Hurley spent nine years as a staff attorney and Project Director at the Long Term Care Assistance Project at Maryland Legal Aid, where her practice focused on direct representation and systemic advocacy in Medicaid and nursing home residents’ rights cases.
“My time in Clinic was the highlight of my law school experience,” said Hurley, “I hope to help spark the same passion in this next generation of Maryland Carey graduates, whether they end up in public interest, government, international or corporate law.”
As managing director, Hurley oversees the daily operations of the Clinic, including management of paralegals and support staff, overseeing administrative matters related to the Clinic, managing records related to the Clinic’s bank accounts, and sharing responsibility for the integrity and vision of the program.
Hurley is excited to return to Maryland Carey Law and work with the amazing staff, faculty and students who have earned the Clinic its national reputation. Hurley can be reached at email@example.com.
