Announced on March 20, 2018, the US News rankings of law schools for 2019 once again recognize four of Maryland Carey Law’s outstanding specialty programs, as well as its part-time program. The Clinical Law and Health Law programs are each ranked 6th, the Dispute Resolution is tied with two other schools’ programs at 13th, and our Environmental Law program is ranked 17th. Maryland Carey Law's part-time program is ranked 5th in the country. Very few law schools are fortunate enough to have five or more of their programs recognized as a top 20 program in this way.
The overall US News ranking for Maryland Carey Law is #49 of 195 US law schools. Dean Donald Tobin commented, “We would not be the great school we are without the hard work and dedication of our faculty and staff. Their teaching, scholarship, and engagement create a strong community and foster an environment where our students succeed.”
