The University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law is proud to announce William J. Moon will be joining the faculty as Assistant Professor of Law effective July 1st.
Professor Moon’s teaching and research interests include Contracts, Business Associations, and Conflict of Laws. In addition to forthcoming publications in the Michigan Law Review and the Harvard Journal of Legislation, he has published in the: Virginia Journal of International Law, Journal of International Economic Law, European Journal of Law and Economics, and Journal of World Trade.
After graduating from Yale Law School in 2012 where he won the Ambrose Gherini Prize for Best Paper in International Law, Professor Moon joined Boies Schiller Flexner’s New York office. While there, Professor Moon accepted a clerkship with the Honorable Joseph A. Greenaway Jr. of the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit before returning to Boies Schiller Flexner. He remained there until 2016 when he joined New York University’s School of Law as Acting Assistant Professor of Lawyering.
