Clinical Law Program Conference Rooms
(300-A and 300-B)
***Note that these rooms do not have a desktop
computer. If projection from a computer is needed, a laptop must be connected
to the appropriate outlets on the conference table. Set-up of this room is complex,
and requests for assistance in the use of technology in this room must be forwarded
to Media Services at least one week in advance of the projected event.
IT IS OF EXTREME IMPORTANCE TO OBSERVE EXTREME CARE IN NOT CHANGING THE ROOM’S
LAYOUT WITHOUT THE ASSISTANCE OF A MEDIA SERVICES TECHNICIAN OR A MEMBER OF
THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT.
- 50” plasma screen for display of high-resolution computer/video from
laptop, Central Control Room, or VCR and Cable Television.
- Audio conferencing system (upon request).
- Extron® VGA interface for computer images and audio.
- Connect VGA cable to the laptop.
- Check for green light on Extron® interface (For Dell's®
hold down FN key and punch F8 this should give you a green light).
- Turn on plasma screen. (If no signal appears on screen, make
sure plasma screen is on computer input #2).
- Turn off plasma screen when completed.
- Turn on plasma screen. (Make sure plasma screen is on Video input.)
- Turn on VCR.
- Insert video tape or change to appropriate cable channel.
- Turn off plasma screen when completed.
