The University Of Maryland School of Law is dedicated to enhancing the educational, social, and professional opportunities of our law students. To this end, the Office of Student Affairs is involved in many aspects of student life. Student Affairs is responsible for the training and mentoring of student groups and student leaders, as well as the development and implementation of orientation for entering students.
The Office of Student Affairs handles the provision of services to students with disabilities. Coordination of a peer advisor system, which provides support and information to the entering first-year class, is also the responsibility of Student Affairs. The Office of Student Affairs welcomes individual students for counseling on a wide variety of academic and non-academic matters.
