The Career Development Office (CDO) provides a multitude of expert services and professional resources to assist students and alumni in finding employment and launching careers in the legal profession. CDO has cultivated outstanding relationships with many of the nation's leading employers, including a majority of law firms cited among the American Lawyer's Top 100 and a host of public service employers.
University of Maryland School of Law students are not licensed attorneys and cannot provide legal representation for the general public. Student attorneys work under the direct supervision of faculty members on select cases handled by the Clinical Law Program.
