Alternative Dispute Resolution

ADR for Students

Maryland Carey Law offers a variety of opportunities for students interested in the growing field of alternative dispute resolution.

About the Center for Dispute Resolution

The Center for Dispute Resolution at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law (C-DRUM) promotes the power of conflict resolution to build a more just society. Through professional education, research, and direct services, C-DRUM provides individuals and communities with the knowledge and skills to address conflict strategically and productively.

Through the education of law students and provision of conflict resolution services throughout the state of Maryland, C-DRUM furthers the law school's goal of maintaining high academic standards while providing service to the surrounding community.

Ronna K. Jablow Mediation Fellowship

Established in loving memory of Ronna K. Jablow, a new Mediation Fellowship is now available to Maryland Carey Law students to work with local community medication centers to advance the cause of alternative dispute resolution.
